Anjana P Rao was born and brought up in Shivamogga, a town in Karnataka. She started her pursuit of Carnatic music ever since the tender age of 4. She got training under the eminent tutelage of guru H S Nagaraj. Her abilities were further molded by Sri. S R Maruthi Prasad. Currently, she is working at Shankar Mahadevan Academy, Bengaluru. She works as a Content developer and teacher for the past 2 years. Bhavana P Rao is a Carnatic Vocalist.
